Women Speaking Out is a Hawaiʻi based nonprofit rooted in prevention, education, and connection—empowering at-risk girls through mentorship, equipping survivors with tools and support to reclaim their lives, and teaching life-saving self defense skills in the community. We held our inaugural retreat for Girls Court, a program designed to prevent or reduce female juvenile delinquency by promoting healthy attitudes, behaviors, and lifestyles. Our new mentorship program aims to empower young women by providing them with tools for goal setting, exposure to positive female role models, and a safe space for personal growth.
